From our farm to your door

Where we deliver

We offer a farm to door delivery service to Atherton, Mareeba and Cairns on the first Saturday of each month. If you reside outside our delivery area, you can still collect our tasty grass-fed beef boxes or curated dog food from our market stall at Mareeba Markets. 

Delivery times

At Tablelands Farm to Fork, we know your weekends are important to you. Once your order is placed, your order will go into the que to be delivered on the date that you select. Our team will contact you by text on the Thursday to let you know when will will arrive at your door. Your boxes will be delivered within your allocated 2 hour time slot.

Packaging

Your individual cuts and packaged in portion of two to three items per bag. Bags are then vacuum sealed at the processor and placed into your lined meat box ready for delivery back to our farm where it is place in our freezer storage until your delivery date. 

Storage

Our meat products are stored in a dedicated freezer storage room on our farm. All produce is stored in accordance safe food practices and below -18 degrees Celsius. Our freezer storage has a backup power system in case of power failures. 

Transport

We transport our produce in a custom purpose built freezer trailer. Our trailer is equipped with active refrigeration units to ensure your produce is transported within the safe temperature limits. Temperatures are monitored using wireless temperature control units within our trailer. 

Delivery Support

When things don’t always go to plan, its OK. On occasions our customers need to change their plans last minute. We understand and will always work with our to come up with a solution. In the event that you need to delay, reschedule or meet us on route, we will try to our best to accomodate. Just call us and we can make on the spot changes to suit you.

Hygiene and Handling Tips

Good hygiene practice is essential when handling, preparing and storing food for us and for our fury companions.  Here are our top tips to get you started:

  • Store frozen until required
  • Defrost in a container at the bottom of the fridge
  • Once defrosted, use that quantity that your require
  • Store any remaining food  and use within 48 hours
  • When warming the food, always test the temperature before serving
  • Wash all utensils, dishes, and surfaces with hot soapy water after serving
  • Dispose of any uneaten food when your have finished eating
